Hello one and all. We are holding a peaceful rally at Trafalgar Square London on Saturday August 28th. We are meeting at 2pm and the rally will take place until 6pm, unless those attending wish to leave earlier. We will be addressing the public with a mobile address system, raising awareness through leaflets explaining in brief our plight also advertising this site and its partners, and seeking signatures for petitions. The petitions will be in support of review and reform of the current care proceedings, and review of past cases. We will also be taking this opportunity to advertise those other people we have come into contact with, that being their individual causes, those being John Jenks and Forgotten Mothers. After this rally, I would like for myself Ian and David, to be able to meet in London the following week to be able to hand the petitions to the chairperson of the Family Division. I am currently seeking to make an appointment with her office. Hopefully also we will attract the media’s attention, thereby raising awareness to homes throughout the U.K. JOIN US in our effort to raise awareness, and our effort to bring CHANGE. Please mail David if you wish to attend. Thank-you. Marc Founder of P.A.C.T (Parents and Children Together) and www.socialservicesabuse.com

MAJOR PROBLEMS
Hi Shell, thanks very much for your hoping to attend. It would be great to hold this rally and to meet all the people that we have all come into contact with through our sites. And by this hopefully show our discontent and show our determination to push for change.
However as from reading below you shall understand my concern.
That is I am sorry to report that I am having major difficulties in obtaining public liability insurance for the rally.
I need to secure such as for the rally to take place, as if this policy is not secured the GLA shall remove permission to use Trafalgar Square.
I have contacted some twenty something insurance companies, each time being given the same reason for not offering cover, this being;
'Our underwriters cannot offer a quote or cover due to this being a political risk'.
Excuse me, that's what protesting is all about. When the government is allowing such abuses, the people that become the victims of such have a right to stand up, be counted, and protest. Stuff the risk to the government or the law makers, they know there is something very wrong with current legislation allowing the current care system to continue in the form it currently has. Us the people who put them there, wish to be heard, for our voices to demonstrate to them the level of discontent.
I am working flat out contacting companies trying to get the insurance, however if I am still unsuccessful the rally would sadly have to be cancelled.
Although those wishing to attend even without such insurance, still could, however I MUST make it clear that in doing so, without the permission of the GLA due to no insurance policy, would be at risk for being arrested for breech of the peace.
I will of course keep all you updated upon this tragic issue.

Hi mark,it makes you angry that these insurances will not give us parents a chance,if these brokers knew what we as parents were going through and why we want to change the care system,they would surely all come forward to help. they ort to get the sites up and read some of our upsetting and true stories may be then they may stop and think well may be there is something we can do to help. People that havent lost children cant imagine the pain and the upset that we are feeling. they should get off there arses and have a look at our postings on the sites,to see why this rally is so important to us. take care von

****IMPORTANT INFORMATION****
I deeply regret to inform everybody that insurance for the rally has NOT been secured.
Insurance companies will not offer a quote for this event due to this rally being viewed as a 'political risk'.
I and my partner SHALL STILL BE ATTENDING. If any other person wishes to still attend you will be more than welcome, HOWEVER please note the below;
1) We will NOT be insured 2) Permission to use Trafalgar Square may have been withdrawn by the GLA, due to no insurance by the time of the rally 3) The Met Police may not attend as planned 4) Anyone attending may be arrested for 'Breech Of The Peace'
However if those attending could follow the below I am sure no arrests would be made.
1) No offensive material displayed or vocalised 2) No anti-social activities i.e. climbing statues, hanging banners from statues, spraying things purple 3) No harrassing the public 4) Noise levels kept to a minimum
We had all agreed on the above anyway, so this was just for formality sake.
I hope those planning to attend still will, and I hope that we can through this achieve something no matter how small.
I agree Von, these people should visit the sites and read for themselves what goes on. They should be able to read for themselves WHY we are doing this WHY we want to change the current system and WHY we lost our children for no good reason. Maybe then they will see the pain and anguish we have to face each and every day, and by that see that such things as our rally goes in some small way to helping others.
