:)well i have got this far,so today is D-day hopefully i may get the files im after,as i said before they were typing the file up so nows my chance when i get there to ask about the original documents and ask for copies of them. Just hope lucks on my side,will make a posting tommorow when i get back to let you all no how i got on. One last thing i have a question for anyone on the board,if they can answer,here goes..... Documents and the transcript tapes from care proceedings,for care orders is there a time limit to how long they have to be filed for before they are destroyed or is it up to the department of the court when they decide to destroyed?would be realy grate full if any one can answer this for me, let you no how i get on tomoz

Hi the general rule is 10 years. Although some don't adhere to this. I hope you got on really well and got that which you sought.
